Colleges of optometry from the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico compete to be the smartest, loudest and most creative. This high-speed, high-stakes test of optometric knowledge pits one champion from each school against all others, poised to buzz in with the right answer and bring home $1,000 and the coveted crystal trophy. The equally celebrated Spirit Award honors the school with the most energy, best costumes and flashiest entrance. Be sure to attend EssilorLuxottica Live!, a student-only after party following the Student Bowl (requisite EssilorLuxottica education at 10 a.m., Thursday, June 22, to receive entry wristband).

The AOA Experience: Opening Session, supported by Johnson & Johnson

Optometry's Meeting kicks off in Nashville with the energy and inspiration of the AOA Experience: Opening Session, supported by Johnson & Johnson Vision. Join attendees for the opening ceremony and a special keynote from leading AI transformation advisor and former Microsoft Executive Tom Lawry. Following the Opening Session is an all-new opening reception in the Eye Care Square exhibit hall.

Interested in learning more about residencies and what is the right fit for you? Join the AOA+ Residency Day where the AOA and AOSA deliver everything you need to know about determining your path to residency, from a residency forum and panel discussion to a Residency Summit. Hear from residents presenting case reports while the panel provides insight into how residency has taken doctors to the next level of their optometric careers. The concluding Residency Summit will see residency directors from across the U.S. and Canada, ready to talk to you about their programs.

Leadership links is a networking program designed to help students and new doctors make the transition from optometry student or recent graduate into their role as a doctor of optometry. This is an exclusive opportunity to network with some of the profession's leaders from across the country. Students and doctors will be grouped at tables and provided topics to discuss throughout the one-hour networking session. There will be multiple sessions offered and space is limited, so be sure to register and secure your spot!
