It has come to our attention that unauthorized companies are contacting Optometry's Meeting® exhibitors and meeting attendees offering discounted hotel reservations during the AOA/AOSA meeting. Please be advised that the only company authorized to arrange hotel reservations for Optometry's Meeting® is Experient. Click for more information
If you receive a call or email from Global Expo Housing, XM Corporation, Diamond Housing Associates, Six Point Travel, Convention Housing Center, Global Housing Management, ECTC Group, Executive Convention Travel, Executive Events, Inc., Stay Right Travel, LLC, Trade Show Housing, or any other company offering to make hotel reservations for you over our meeting dates, we urge you not to book with them.
These companies are not affiliated with AOA/AOSA/Optometry's Meeting® in any way and therefore are not authorized to make reservations on Optometry's Meeting's behalf. While the rates may sound good, unauthorized companies typically require non-refundable pre-paid reservations, and often end up moving individuals to other hotels. If you book with any of these unauthorized companies, AOA/AOSA cannot protect you if there is a problem with your reservation when you arrive in Chicago. The official housing bureau for Optometry's Meeting® does not solicit reservations by phone or email. If you are contacted by any housing bureau, we urge you to report them to AOA staff at rduemig@aoa.org.
AOA has contracted discounted rates with three hotels in Chicago. To make a reservation with Optometry's Meeting® Official Housing Bureau/ Experient, click on the Housing link or call the number above to make your reservations within the Optometry's Meeting® room block. Housing for Optometry's Meeting® officially opens in early February.

Headquarters Hotel - The Hilton Chicago - is an iconic hotel located on Michigan Avenue overlooking Grant Park and Lake Michigan. The hotel has 1,544 recently renovated guest rooms, and each room features enhanced technology with an in-room computer with touch screen and 32” HD television. Hilton Palmer House - built in 1873 and rebuilt in 1925, the Hilton Palmer House is a historic downtown hotel close to Millennium Park, Macy’s, and the Art Institute and is less than a mile from Lake Michigan and the Magnificent Mile shopping area. Reserve Your Room(s) at an Official Optometry’s Meeting® Hotel
The AOA and AOSA work tirelessly to keep attendee costs affordable at Optometry’s Meeting®. So that we may continue to keep registration fees low, we ask that you support Optometry’s Meeting® by booking rooms in AOA-contracted hotels, utilizing the Optometry’s Meeting® housing bureau. The AOA must guarantee a pre-determined number of hotel sleeping rooms many years in advance. This booking arrangement allows us the opportunity to earn incentives that make Optometry’s Meeting® possible and affordable. Please help your associations by staying at one of our hotels.
