The ocular surface is exposed to a wide variety of intrinsic and extrinsic assaults. This can result in varying degrees of corneal and conjunctival compromise. Common ocular surface inflammatory disease conditions include dry eye syndrome, bacterial and allergic conjunctivitis, blepharitis, and corneal infiltrates. This course will detail how to therapeutically intervene on behalf of patients afflicted with these common ocular disorders.
