Several travel grants are available to students to make travel to Washington DC for Optometry's Meeting more affordable.
The AOA is offering a $750 travel grant to students who register for AOA+ and Optometry's Meeting by March 31, 2017 and who attend all AOA+ events and the Optometry's Meeting Opening General Session. You must check in to all required events. Travel grants will be distributed onsite at Optometry's Meeting during Leadership Link.

Don't miss your chance to attend this first-ever event to be held once every three years. Stand up for your patients and your profession by meeting with lawmakers plus learn career and life-building tips.

Your photo representing the itching, burning and discomfort of dry eye−iteral or abstract−could win you a $200 travel grant (or even more) to Optometry's Meeting. Enter your photo and a 25-word-or-less description by midnight, May 2, 2017. The first place winner will win a $500 travel grant to Optometry's Meeting. Second place will win a $400 travel grant and third place a $300 travel grant. And 97 other students will win $200 travel grants, all courtesy of Allergan! All 100 winners will be required to attend a special recognition luncheon, sponsored by Allergan, on Saturday, June 24 Optometry's Meeting.
